Getting Started

Set up R3-X and create your first AI-powered social media post.

Overview

R3-X is an AI-powered social media scheduler. It lets you create posts with AI-generated content, schedule them, and publish across Facebook, Instagram, and X/Twitter.

Setup

1. Create an Account

Navigate to your R3-X instance and create an account with email/password or Google OAuth.

2. Create a Company

After logging in, create your first company. A company represents a brand or business with its own:

  • Connected social media platforms
  • AI personas for content generation
  • AI model settings (text and image models)

3. Connect Platforms

Go to Settings → Platforms and connect your social media accounts:

  • Facebook — Connect via Meta Business Login. Requires a Facebook Page.
  • Instagram — Connect via Instagram Business Login. Requires an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page.
  • X/Twitter — Connect via OAuth 2.0 with PKCE.

Creating a Post

The Post Creation Studio

The post creation studio is the main interface for creating content. It features:

  • Left panel — AI chat interface for content generation
  • Right panel — Post details, images, and platform previews

Using AI

  1. Upload photos or import from Google Drive
  2. Type a prompt describing what you want (e.g., "Create an engaging post about our new product launch")
  3. The AI agent will:
    • Analyze your uploaded photos
    • Generate platform-specific captions
    • Select the best images
    • Optionally generate new AI images

Manual Editing

You can also create posts manually:

  • Write captions for each platform (X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook)
  • Upload images directly
  • Set character limits per platform (280 for X, 2200 for Instagram)

Scheduling

Posts can be:

  • Published immediately — Click "Publish Now"
  • Scheduled — Set a date and time, the post will be published automatically
  • Saved as draft — Save for later editing

AI Settings

Each company can configure:

  • Text Model — The AI model for caption generation (default: GPT-5.4 Mini)
  • Image Model — The AI model for image generation (default: Gemini)
  • Personas — AI personalities that define tone, style, and content approach
